I have spent most of today in a hospital. Waiting. And waiting. And then waiting a little more. My ankle has been very painful over the past few weeks and I woke up today and could barely put any weight on it so I went to A&E for an x-ray. The name of the nurse on duty made me laugh out loud in a silent waiting room.
Anyway, after many hours I had my x-ray and thankfully nothing is broken or fractured, I just have ‘extensive’ ligament damage. I’m not sure whats worse?! So it’s off to the chiropractor for me.
I got home to find the latest delivery of Olive magazine on the doorstep! YESSSSSS. Cleo was absolutely thrilled. Here is her thrilled face.
Another thing Cleo was thrilled about was the new bowl/plate I bought in a bid to reduce my portion sizes. Jen eats her dinners on actual serving plates. I’m serious. But because she walks a load of miles everyday with her job, not an ounce of fat goes on her bod. I do not walk miles everyday and the current status of my ankle is making it difficult for me to even walk the dog so my new plate/bowl (powl?) will make me to shovel less food in my gob.
Here is Cleo looking excited for me.
And my first meal out of my new powl was chicken pesto (light pesto) pasta (healthy shiz) with extra light mozzarella (YUM).
It tasted better than it looked.

You could’ve got a photo or ten of a Nurse….not for me of course, for my mate……..-x-
Your Plate/bowl is known by fatties, because they eat a lot, as an ‘AteOwl’. True , my uncle told me and he’s a Vicar so it must be very true.
